Official CEX login
Use the official CEX website to sign in — never follow login links from unknown emails or messages. You can start from the official CEX homepage and locate the Login / Sign in button to access your account.
1. Open the official site
Type the official domain into your browser or use a trusted bookmark. Confirm the URL and the secure padlock icon in the address bar before entering credentials. Phishing pages often imitate looks but not the exact domain.
2. Enter email and password
Use the email you registered with and your password (case-sensitive). If you rely on a password manager, use its autofill rather than copying and pasting to avoid typing mistakes or hidden spaces.
3. Complete 2FA
CEX supports two-factor authentication. After you enter credentials you’ll be asked for a 2FA code (from an authenticator app) or a mobile push. Always enable 2FA — it prevents access even if your password is compromised.
4. KYC & region checks
Full platform access often requires identity verification (KYC). If you haven’t completed KYC you may be able to browse but not trade or withdraw fiat until verification is approved.
Troubleshooting common login problems
- Forgot password: Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page to send a reset email—check spam if you don’t see it.
- Lost 2FA device: Use saved backup codes you received when enabling 2FA. If none, contact CEX support and be prepared to verify identity—don’t share codes publicly.
- Account locked: Multiple failed attempts may trigger temporary locks — follow the unlock instructions sent to your registered email or open a support ticket.
- Verification pending: Identity checks can take time; ensure your documents are clear and match your account details exactly to speed approval.
Security best practices
Use a unique, strong password and a password manager. Enable 2FA immediately. Whitelist withdrawal addresses if the exchange supports it. Regularly review your account activity and revoke access for devices you don’t recognize.
When to contact support
Contact support if you cannot recover your account with standard flows (password reset or backup codes), or if you detect suspicious activity. Provide concise details, times of attempts, and follow their identity verification process — but never send passwords or 2FA codes in chat or email.
